Our casual tournament will feature two leagues based on the Elo ratings of participants. The Master League is for players with an Elo rating between 1500 and 2000. The Rookie League is specifically for players who either have no Elo rating or possess an Elo rating below 1500.
Tournament Information
The winners of both leagues will earn a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take part in an extraordinary challenge—facing Belgium’s top player, Daniel Dardha, as he attempts to break the world record by playing against 50 opponents simultaneously.

The tournament will not follow a knock-out system, meaning all players will get to play a full 7 rounds, regardless of their performance. The games will be played using a time control of 10 minutes, with a 3-second increment per move.
If, after 7 rounds, two or more players are tied with the same number of points, the winners will be decided through Armageddon games.

The Ches Club Karpov Deinze provides lunch options as well as dinner for players and visitors. Reservation in advance is required.
Additionally, a variety of snacks and drinks will be available at the bar throughout the event.
On the same day, professionnal players will compete for the title of Belgian Blitz Champion. Between rounds, participants and spectators will have the opportunity to watch these professionals in action and experience high-level blitz chess up close. Additionally, a chess-themed art exhibition will be on display, offering a unique cultural perspective on the game.
